Since 1983 Ashley's on State Street has been a favorite among beer lovers. The pub features more than 60 beers on tap, from Michigan microbrews to national and international craft ales and lagers. In addition, special casks are frequently tapped at regularly scheduled events, and an extensive collection of scotches, some very rare, is available for aficionados. The menu includes bar staples such as steaks, burgers, sandwiches, fish and chips, and cheese fries, and the recent addition of several flat-screen TVs has made it more sports-fan friendly than ever.
